Another memorable event was bringing our client’s annual National Broker Conference to a close. In 2018, we took 1,000 delegates on an unforgettable journey flying NBC Airlines, business class all the way!

The event was held at Archerfield Jet Base in Brisbane, in a historic hangar built by Qantas in 1934. With the spectacular backdrop of a runway at sunset, guests were guided to tables running the length of the hangar and lit with LED landing strips. Fifty-metre-wide projections took guests on a virtual flight across continents and through the archives of the golden age of jet travel. A dance performance by the uniformed crew and an energetic set by Furnace & the Fundamentals had guests dancing in the aisles.

Before the transformation, we had to complete the most comprehensive risk assessment we have ever undertaken. Given our wings, the intensive production process included building a full kitchen and personal amenities for guests.
