Kicking off the festive season, Rebel Playground turned a client's corporate closing dinner into a punk underground warehouse party at Port Melbourne's landmark event space, the Timber Yard. Utilising the industrial aesthetic of this popular venue, we took a more-is-more approach, producing a flamboyant urban playground, layering colour over texture, adorning surfaces with custom-created street art, and filling every thorofare with spectacle.

The night was punctuated by a roster of killer talent, including Gang of Tinsel Monsters, Hot Dub Time Machine, breakdancers, and drummers, providing a heart-thumping soundtrack to an electrifying assault on the senses, a miss-match of neon laser lighting and crushed metallics, creating dynamic vignettes around the room.

Menu-wise, the food, showcasing the best of Melbourne's local produce, was as exciting as the richly decorated tablescapes on which the plates were set. Guests were invited to get their freak on and capture a memory at the photobooths when they needed a breather from the absolute revelry on the dancefloor.
